Finca La Capitana REGINA VIARUM
Selection of our Tempranillo grapes grown in Finca la Capitana. Prefermentative cold maceration for 7 days in French oak truncated cone tanks. Subsequent fermentation at 25 degrees Celsius with four daily pump-overs. Once the fermentation is finished, filling of the truncated cone tanks and post-fermentation maceration for 30 days. Then, racking and pressing.
Aged for 7 months on its own lees. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and 18 months in the bottle.

Sight
Ruby color with garnet tones and medium intensity.
Nose
Mature red and black fruits, raspberry and blackcurrant, sweet spices such as licorice, accompanied by toasted notes from oak aging.
Palate
Smooth and balanced with medium body and polished and very elegant tannins. Very long and pleasant finish with hints of fresh fruits.
Food pairing
Grilled red meats, game stews, aged cheeses.
